Mr. Pollo Pollo Pollo

The weather up in here has finally started to get better. I don't know what was up with all that rain, but I am so incredibly glad it has gone away. Now it better stay away until at least October. Hmph.

Since it was finally nice yesterday, Amy and I went into the city for a little adventure. Mainly, she went through her closet and had some stuff to sell at Crossroads, as did I, so that was our excuse for going all the way into the city. I didn't get much money, so I used it as store credit to acquire a couple of "new" shirts and a REALLY cute purse (pics later).

But what I really wanted to talk about was where we went for lunch. We went to Mr. Pollo in the Mission and it was incredibly delicious. Seriously, I'm still thinking about it and how tasty that lunch was.

It's a very, very tiny restaurant, a true hole in the wall serving some seriously tasty (and beautiful) grub. See?
Mr. Pollo's specializes in super fresh, South American food, especially food inspired by Venezuela and Colombia. The menu and ingredients change every day, based on what is available to the chef (only two people work there!) and the food is presented so beautifully. I am a firm believer that presentation of a meal is very important, and this place did not disappoint. We actually ordered more food then this, but we were so hungry, that I forgot to take pictures! It was amazing!

Oh, and did I mention it's priced incredibly well. Really well. Go check it out my friends! I'm definitely going back soon...mainly because I'm excited to test the variety of this place!
